Ultrasonography is a procedure of diagnosing internal medical conditions of different parts of the body by using high-frequency soundwaves which are inaudible to human ears. It helps to determine heart problems, abdominal health and development of the fetus during pregnancy. It also helps in the diagnosis of brain functions, joints and ligament injuries, etc.
